Shipping policy
Shipping options for each item are noted on the product page. Most items ship free, some require a shipping fee, and others are available for in-store pickup only.
Shipping Options
Free Shipping:
Most orders ship free via ground to the lower 48 states.
Expedited Shipping:
Available at standard carrier rates, including UPS Next Day Air and UPS Express Saver (3-day). Orders with incomplete or inaccurate shipping information may be delayed.
In-Store Pickup:
All items are available for in-store pickup at:

- Most items are ready within one hour during store business hours.
- Some items, such as cargo boxes, canoes, and kayaks, require additional prep time. You’ll receive an email when your order is ready.
Local Delivery:
Available for select oversized/overweight items, including canoes and kayaks, from our Wilton location to the surrounding towns. Contact us at (203) 762-8797 or orders@outdoorsports.com for availability and cost.
Oversized/Overweight Items
Some large or heavy items require special shipping arrangements.
Bikes (Flat-Rate Shipping):
- Standard bikes: $200 per bike
- Kids’ bikes: $75 per bike
- E-bikes: $300 per bike (ships via ground only)
- Some large bikes (tandems, cargo bikes) may require in-store pickup.
Freight Shipping (Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout):
Some oversized/overweight items must ship via freight, including bike carriers and inflatable SUPs.
Processing & Transit Times
- Most in-stock items ship same day if ordered before 3 PM ET.
- Bikes ship within 2–3 business days.
- Transit time varies but is typically 3–7 days.
- You’ll receive tracking information via email once your order ships.
Shipping Restrictions
- We only ship within the contiguous U.S. (lower 48 states).
- No shipping to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses—a physical street address is required.
- E-bikes must ship via ground due to battery regulations.
