15th -- Rental Returns:  We're all setup and ready for your rental returns! Stop by the tent located in the back parking lot, and we will help unload your car, and return your equipment for your convenience. Please drop off all skis, poles, boots and boards by April 15th, or as soon as possible. Thank you for another great season and renting with us!



2nd -- Tuesday Night Run Club:  Join us Tuesday nights, starting May 2nd for our first group run of the season! We will be running 2-4 miles on the Norwalk River Valley Trail, in Wilton. Meet us at 6:15pm at the Park and Ride on Wolfpit Road and Rt. 7 to join in. We slowly increase mileage each week to build up strength, for the SONO Half Marathon on October 14th. Stop in the shop for any new trainers or running gear you might need to update this season, we’d love to outfit you!


19th - 29th-- Thule & Yakima Sale:  THULE and Yakima products are going on sale at 20% off just in time to get geared up for spring! Get your car equipped for all the exciting activities that are coming our way as temperatures begin to rise. From boat and bike racks all the way to backpacks and strollers, we have all the THULE and Yakima products you need to have a perfect season in the sun.


27th -- Weston 5K:  The Weston Memorial Day Weekend 5K Road Race and Walk will mark its 24th year in 2017.  The race is Weston High School's largest fundraiser, funding current and future school enhancements and educational initiatives. The USATF certified course is a fast, rolling, scenic loop through residential and historic sections of Weston. It starts and finishes in front of the Weston High School at 8:30am. Registration is still open!



4th -- CT Food Bank, Miles for Meals 5K:   Starting at 8:30 am, the flat 5K course travels through Veteran’s Park and scenic Norwalk waterfront. The 2nd annual event benefits the Connecticut Food Bank. Free parking at the event, plus free t-shirts to the first 300 people.


11th -- 25th Annual Hat City Cyclists CycleFest:  CycleFest is one of the oldest, safest and most scenic self-paced charity rides in Western CT and offers 105, 80, 54, 23 and 14 miles route options. Proceeds from the event will benefit Danbury Youth Service's Earn-a-Bike, a program that gives disadvantaged kids the chance to own their very own bicycles.


11th -- Bike MS: Stamford 2017:  Starting at Dinosaur BBQ in Stamford, this ride will benefit MS research.


18th -- Fathers Day 5K:  On Sunday, June 18th, Boy Scout Troop 431 of Ridgefield will host a Kids Fun Run and 5K at Ridgefield High School. The kid's race starts at 8 am, and the 5k begins at 8:30 am.


18th -- Rowayton Fun Run:  Enjoy a short (2.2 miles) or slightly longer (4.4 miles) run, through Rowayton and Bell Island. USATF Certified courses. Rowayton Community Center, Norwalk, CT.

27th -- Outdoor Adventure Film Series: Trails in Motion:  The Trails In Motion Mountain Bike Film Festival is a brand new community-driven film tour that brings a collection of the finest mountain biking films to audiences around the world each year. Join us for an intimate viewing at 7:30 pm on StageOne at the Fairfield Theatre Company. Get tickets Here!




1st -- Redding Rock'N'Roots 9K:  The 9k (5.59 miler) runs through some of Redding's most aesthetically pleasing areas, including Putnam State Park and an undeveloped road. All participants will receive a short sleeve tech shirt or a singlet and other great gifts. Finishers will also receive a medal.


21st -- Trumbull Sunset Run 5K:  This evening race is something different, located at Twin Brook Park in Trumbull and starting at 6:45 pm. Look forward to free pizza, fruits, Italian ices and cold beverages after the race. Plus free t-shirts and trophies awarded in nine age categories. It’s all part of the fun!


29th -- Southwest Cafe Margarita 5K:  Southwest Cafe presents the 11th annual Southwest Cafe Margarita Run to benefit the Ridgefield Sunrise Cottage. This festive 5k offers participants great awards and a free margarita while supporting a wonderful community cause. Course Maps can be found here!


28th-29th -- CT Challenge 2017:  Opening Ceremony: Friday, July 28th, 6:00 PM; Ride kicks off Saturday, July 29th, 2016, at 8:00 AM Up to 2,000 riders ride a 10, 25, 50, 75 or 100-mile route starting and finishing at the Fairfield County Hunt Club in Westport, CT. Fundraiser proceeds go to cancer research.
